Rev Larry Scott orders 25 blankets for orphans in Haiti

Sounds good doesn't it, pity its a scam!!
The Rev contacted me asking for a quote for 25 blankets.

Then he asked me to contact his choice of logistics.  I got a quote from the logistics people, it was nearly three thousand dollars, more than the blankets!!!.

Because it was so expensive i checked out Aus post for options, they could do it for a third of the price.

so i quoted the reverend the price of his logistic person and the aus post quote.

he was quiet annoyed and insisted i used his logistic person.

of course, i have been wary of this order from the get go as well Weighted Blankets for orphans in Haiti seemed a bit weird.

so, with my gut saying, hmmmmmm doesnt seem right, i go to lunch, chat to partner who seems also to think its a bit odd.

next he phones me and wants to process the transaction via credit card over the phone. so we take the details, then when i get to the security code on the back he acted like he didnt know what i was talking about. next thing he tells me he will call me back.

now i have his credit card details, so i call the fraud part of my bank and they say, 'oh yes the reverand buying things for orphans in haiti is acutally quiet common  scam'.

they now have all the emails and details so they can follow up.

the rev rang thismorning after i sent him a disgusted email about what a awful person he is and that Karma is gonna bite his butt.... i had to hang up on him twice.

TRUST YOUR GUT... if it doestn feel right, it probably isnt
