Updating progress on establishing the Cessnock Gaming Group for children diagnosed with an ASD/Aspergers.
Meeting of interested parents is being held to discuss a start date and establish a code of conduct for the running of these gaming sessions.
When: Tuesday 14 September , 10 am
At: Lower Hunter Peer Support building 92 Station Street, Weston.
It is planned to start the group on a Saturday 1xmonth at the Peer Support building.
If anyone has any comments or ideas and you are unable to attend please email me pat.wade@dadhc.nsw.gov.au
Sorry for the short notice but things are moving along quite nicely now.
There has also been a request to establish a ten pin bowling league at Maitland Super Strike for children with ASD/Aspergers so again if anyone is interested please let me know.
